The MISSION of the TISD Libraries is to permanently prepare the learning community in a changing global environment. This by providing proper access to resources, advocating an all-inclusive environment, and celebrating diversity. The library media center collaborates with staff, teachers, and parents to prepare students to become contributors to their communities, be good citizens, lifelong learners and develop a love for reading.

The VISION of the TISD Libraries is to empower students to learn technology and 21st century library skills through integration, partnership, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and responsible digital citizenship, in a culturally diverse and safe learning environment.
