Tornillo ISD schools will operate on a delayed start schedule due to the inclement weather. All schools will start two hours from their normal starting time. School start times will be at 10:00 a.m. and buses will begin pickup at 9:00a.m.. Updates will be provided through the district website, phone messages, and social media.
Las escuelas del distrito escolar de Tornillo operarán con un horario de inicio retrasado debido a las inclemencias del tiempo. Todas las escuelas comenzarán dos horas después de su horario normal. El horario de inicio será a las 10:00 a.m. y los autobuses comenzarán a recoger a los estudiantes a las 9:00 a.m. Se proporcionarán actualizaciones a través del sitio web del distrito, mensajes telefónicos y redes sociales
Due to a water pump issue serving the upper campuses, repairs are required by the water district. As a result, schools will have a delayed start at 10:00 a.m.
If the issue is not resolved by that time, an additional notice will be issued by the district.
