Instructions
Notice is hereby given that Tornillo Independent School District, will accept proposals from qualified vendors with E-Rate SPIN numbers for Internal Connections - Network Equipment. Internal Connection equipment, not delivered under non-contracted or month-to-month arrangement, requiring a binding contract, shall be contingent upon E- Rate funding approval by the SLD. All contracts shall expire on June 30, 20XX of the funding year regardless of the Start of Service Date. Tornillo ISD reserves the right to cancel and/or change service provider after the end of the funding year and will not be liable for early termination fees associated with a conflict on the contract's expiration date and the funding year's last date of service.

01. How many switch racks do you have in the High School MDF Data Room?
Response: 2 racks, 1 for cisco switches, the other for PBX and servers.
02. Do you have horizontal and vertical wire managers installed in the existing racks?
Response: Vertical
03. Do you require any changes to the switch configurations during implementation?
Response: No
04. Do you require any fiber cables, SFPs, or copper patch cables for connectivity?
Response: No fiber or patch cables needed. For SEP's we need 10.
05. Are your existing copper patch cables color coded to show different VLANs?
Response: Yes
06. Would you please provide pictures of the existing racks?
Response: Yes, see attached.
07. Do you plan to implement multiple switch stacks in the MDF?
How do you envision these being split up?
Response: The max is 8 for cisco to stack so we would have one stack of 8 and one switch by itself.
08. You did not request Stack Cables in the provided hardware list.

Response: Yes

Will you utilize your existing SFPs for connectivity.
Response: If they are compatible yes.
10. What type of racks do you have in the MDF?
Response: 2-post standard racks
11. Are all of your network racks mounted next to each other in a single row?
Two racks are standing side by side.
