Tornillo ISD is giving a second life to its used and unwanted school furniture by donating it to local non-profit organizations. Items will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, pending submission of valid proof of non-profit status.
Acceptable documentation includes an IRS determination letter, IRS Form 990, state sales tax exemption certificate, or an official signed letter on organizational letterhead (from a school district, church, or community program) with contact information.
To ensure a smooth process, the District will establish a designated pick-up schedule outside of school hours, with details to be announced at a later date.
