The next election for the Board of Trustees for the Tornillo Independent School District will be held on November 3, 2026. The Trustee positions involved in this election will be:

• Place 4 - Hector Lopez

• Place 5 - Enrique Vega

• Place 6 - Ofelia Bosquez

• Place 7 - Ida Estrada

First day to file for a place on the ballot: July 18, 2026

Last day to file for a place on the ballot: August 17, 2026

NOTICE OF DRAWING FOR PLACEMENT ON THE BALLOT

Notice is hereby given that a drawing will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Board Room - 19210 Cobb Ave.  

The drawing is for the purpose of determining the order in which candidates' names are to be printed on the ballot in the Tornillo ISD Trustee Election to be held on November 3, 2026.

Candidates are welcome to participate in this drawing if they wish, but are not required to attend; they may have a representative present.
