    Telecommunication Services

    Instructions:

    Notice is hereby given that Tornillo Independent School District, will accept bid proposals from qualified vendors with E-Rate SPIN numbers for Telecommunication Services. Telecommunication services, not delivered under non-contracted or month-to-month arrangement, requiring a binding contract, shall be contingent upon E- Rate funding approval by the SLD. All contracts shall expire on June 30, 20XX of the funding year regardless of the Start of Service Date. Tornillo ISD reserves the right to cancel and/or change service provider after the end of the funding year and will not be liable for early termination fees associated with a conflict on the contract's expiration date and the funding year's last date of service.

    Internal Connections & Basic Maintenance

    Instructions:

    Note: We will not be seeking bids for Internal Connection for this funding year.

    Notice is hereby given that Tornillo Independent School District, will accept bid proposals from qualified vendors with E-Rate SPIN numbers for Maintenance and Technical Support of Internal Connections. All work pursuant to this contract shall be contingent upon E- Rate funding approval by the SLD.

    Contract will be based on "as-needed" basis. Vendor should submit a bid for their flat hourly rate for the type of basic maintenance service sought. Vendor will invoice both USAC and Tornillo ISD for services actually delievered and/or work performed.

    To submit your bid proposal for Basic Maintenance, please download the Excel template next to the the type of service, fill out all fields highlighted in yellow, save as Adobe PDF format, and e-mail to Erate@tisd.us along with proof of qualifications by 5:00 PM (mountain standard time) on November 10, 2011. All bidders will be notified of our decision by e-mail before 5:00 PM on November 11, 2011.

    Service Provider FAQ:

    Question: I am very interested in responding to your Erate Basic Maintenance RFP.  I do have one question though:  in reading the RFP I get the impression that you all are open to vendors responding to what they can support.  That said, will you all consider vendors that can't offer turnkey maintenance for each line item on each spreadsheet?  For example, could we bid the Structured Cabling Maintenance and not the Microsoft Certified Maintenance?

    Answer: Preference will be given to vendors who can offer maintenance for every line item within the spreadsheet.

    Question: We are currently preparing a response to your RFP for voice and data telecom services. To assist us in completing the process, can you provide all applicable address information for the Internet access, local and long distance services?
