Tornillo High School is, for the 4th consecutive year, a U.S. News & World Report Bronze award high school.

For the third consecutive year Tornillo ISD has been rated in the Top Ten nationally for instructional technology.

State Champion!
Jesse Guerra won the Boys Class 2A State Championship in Tennis. The Girls Doubles Team of Lily Guerra and Jenny Hernandez were State Qualifiers.

Recognized-Met AYP
With the release of the State Accountability Ratings along with the National results Tornillo is again honored. We are one of three El Paso County Districts to meet the National AYP rating. Our state ratings show: Tornillo Elementary - Exemplary; Tornillo Intermediate - Exemplary; Tornillo High School - Recognized; and Tornillo ISD - Recognized!

Tornillo ISD has lead the ESC 19 Region - Anthony to Sierra Blanca - in overall TAKS pass rate for FIVE CONSECUTIVE YEARS! The Comptroller's FAST rating shows that we have the lowest cost per student of the public districts in the Region as well! Best performance, at lowest cost!
